Tonya & Jay’s Destination Wedding & Day After Shoot, FL

How cool is this… Tonya and Jay are originally from my home state of West Virginia. They first hired a great friend of mine, David Robinson to shoot their reception in WV. When David found out they were actually going to be married in Cocoa Beach, he referred them my way. Side note: David and I started our businesses at the same time (in different states), and have spent thousands of hours on the phone learning from one another, but we had never shot a wedding together. Until last week… Tonya and Jay were the perfect first wedding couple for David and I. They were fun, spontaneous and up for anything. They had a small intimate wedding on the beach with close friends and family. Afterwards, during the couples session, they some how ended up in the ocean (David and I take no responsibility….well maybe a little). The following day, after everyone dried out, we went to Andretti Speed Park for a day of go karting, batting, golfing, bumper boating, and Guitar Hero-ing (shhh, I made that word up)….. all while wearing her wedding dress. That’s my kind of couple. I want to thank Tonya and Jay for taking us on their little adventure. Best Wishes!
